Adaptable Tools:
Adaptable Tools will give a demo on Adaptable Blotter! AdaptableBlotter.JS is an HTML5 vendor grid written entirely in JavaScript, enhanced and transformed into a powerful financial blotter ready for immediate use.
It provides – out of the box – all the powerful functionality that financial employees have come to expect. Additionally it offers an unparalleled suite of auditing and validation functions, vital in today’s regulatory and compliance environment.
AdaptableBlotter.JS – with its rich range of functions – works particularly well with OpenFin’s fast and powerful Hypergrid; together they make a compelling case for any financial desktop.
Scott Logic:
Creating a tear-out tabbed interface with OpenFin, Colin Eberhardt
Finding a natural way to manage multi-window applications is a challenge. This talk explores a tear-out tabbed interface inspired by Google Chrome. Colin will talk you through the various technical design decisions, and dig into the details of how they implemented this feature in their StockFlux demo app.
Thomson Reuters:
Jorge Santos the Director of Product Management and his team manage the Eikon Framework; the different entrypoints and services through which user’s access Eikon. These include the desktop, Web, Office and APIs.
Eikon is Thomson Reuters’ flagship financial product offering content, news and analytics through different platforms. Jorge is going to demo Eikon’s new Side by Side integration API. It gives any application running in the OpenFin container interoperability with Eikon. Apps can launch Eikon apps, send and receive context creating a seamless workflow for the user across all the different products they use in their workflow. Thomson Reuters and OpenFin are working together to define the open standard on interoperability for the financial industry.
