Peter Randall, CEO, Setl
SETL was launched in July 2015 to deploy a multi-asset, multi-currency institutional payment and settlements infrastructure based on blockchain technology. The SETL system will enable market participants to move cash and assets directly between each other, facilitating the immediate and final settlement of market transactions. The SETL system maintains a permissioned distributed ledger of ownership and transaction records, simplifying the process of matching, settlement, custody, registration and transaction reporting.

Sharon Argov, VP Growth, HiBob
Sharon Argov is a serial entrepreneur – at just 16 she began her entrepreneurial career, selling lemonade to thirsty beach-goers stuck in traffic outside Tel Aviv in Israel. At 21, she started a short-term rentals business in Spain (pre-Airbnb!), which she evenutally sold to German tourist operators.
In the last decade, Sharon has honed her skills as an online marketing expert in various industries. She played an integral role in building the online gaming entertainment business 888.com which floated on the London Stock Exchange with a valuation of $1.5 billion in 2005. She has also run her own boutique marketing agency, helping online brands and start-ups in all phases monetise their business models and build efficient user acquisition strategies. Sharon is the CEO and Founder of Fundbird.co.uk, a platform that helps small businesses in the UK find funding solutions and access to capital, and is also the VP Growth for hibob, a HR/benefit platform.

Georg Ludviksson, CEO Meniga
Georg Ludviksson is a serial-entrepreneur and the CEO and Co-Founder of Meniga, a white-label digital banking software company that is working with many of Europe’s largest banks to help them build the next generation digital bank that is both personal and inspiring to users. Georg started Meniga in the wake of the global financial crisis in 2009 to help people better understand and manage their finances. Meniga has since raised €15M in venture funding and its software solutions power digital banks used by over 40 million people. Georg has almost 20 years of experience of founding, building and managing global software start-ups including mobile middleware company Dimon Software in 1998 that was a major technology provider to Nokia, and real-time stock investing simulator UpDown Inc. in the USA in 2007. Georg holds an BS degree in Software Engineering from the University of Iceland and an MBA degree from Harvard Business School, focused on finance and entrepreneurship.
Every success story includes countless failures and mistakes along the way and Georg will be talking about some of the key failures he has experienced in his entrepreneurial career and what he learned from it. Amongst other things he will share stories about co-founder disputes, keeping shareholders aligned, major fund raising that failed at the last minute, and more.
