Financial Technology (or FinTech) is a fast-growing economic industry composed of companies that use technology to make financial services more efficient. Financial technology companies are generally startups founded with the purpose of disrupting incumbent financial systems and corporations that rely less on software.
This lecture series has been curated by Huy Nguyen Trieu, a Resident Expert and friend of the Entrepreneurship Centre at Oxford Saïd.
Framing the Landscape
The goal of this session is to introduce the FinTech ecosystem, and to understand how it is impacting traditional finance. The speakers will share their insights from working both with startups and incumbents, and discuss their views about the future of finance.
